What is In-Home ABA Therapy?

In-home ABA therapy is a way to teach meaningful skills by using your child’s daily routines and environments. Instead of practicing in a clinic or unfamiliar setting, therapy happens right at home. This approach helps build skills naturally and helps to implement them more effectively and easier for the child.

Each session is guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and delivered by trained behavior technicians. Together, we focus on building communication, encouraging independence, strengthening social connections, and reducing behaviors to help with the family life.
In-home therapy also makes it easier for parents and caregivers to be part of the process, creating opportunities for learning that go beyond therapy hours.

In Home ABA Services

Every child is different, and so is every therapy plan. In-home ABA sessions are designed around your child’s goals, interests, and everyday routines, making learning feel natural and achievable.
Depending on their needs, we may focus on:

Daily living skills: focus on teaching your child life skills according to their age such as washing hands, brushing teeth, toileting.

Communication development: Strengthening the way your child expresses wants and needs. Our ABA-based communication programs are designed to help children: request preferred items, actions, and assistance (mands), label objects, people, and actions in their environment (tacts), respond to questions and engage in reciprocal interactions (intraverbals), follow instructions and communicate basic needs across settings.

Social interaction: Encouraging sharing, taking turns, and building positive relationships with peers, family members and others.

Behavioral support: Implementing function-based strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors such as tantrums, aggression, and high-risk behaviors (e.g., elopement, self-injurious behavior, and unsafe climbing) by teaching socially appropriate replacement skills.

Family involvement: Coaching parents and caregivers to support and reinforce progress between sessions.

Therapy is always personalized, adjusting as your child grows and their needs evolve.
