Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

As an RBT with JZ Advanced Behavior Services you will work one-on-one with children with developmental and behavioral needs, helping them build communication, social, academic, and daily living skills through structured, evidence-based interventions.

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will implement behavior-analytic services directly with clients, following individualized treatment plans designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs are responsible for following these plans with fidelity, collecting accurate data, and using evidence-based strategies to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.

 All RBTs practice under the close, ongoing supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or RBT Requirements Coordinator, who are responsible for overseeing the quality and integrity of service delivery.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

As a BCBA at JZ Advanced Behavior Services, you’ll lead with clinical expertise, compassion, and purpose. Our BCBAs are responsible for developing and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans that help children make meaningful progress, at home, at school, and in the community.

You’ll assess each client’s needs, guide and supervise Behavior Technicians, and collaborate closely with families to ensure consistency and success across environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS), and develop individualized treatment plans based on data and client needs.
  • Make protocol modifications based on ongoing data analysis, client responsiveness, and changes in developmental priorities.
  • Supervise RBTs and BCaBA by providing direct and indirect observation, performance feedback, and competency-based training.
  • Track client progress and adjust goals as needed
  • Provide parent/caregiver training to support generalization, promote consistency, and increase family engagement.
  • Ensure treatment integrity and ethical compliance with BACB guidelines and Medicaid/insurance standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation, session notes, and progress reports.

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

As a BCaBA at JZ Advanced Behavior Services, you’ll bring dedication, clinical skill, and compassion to every case. Our BCaBAs play a vital role in supporting meaningful behavior change by assisting in the development of behavior support plans and conducting components of functional behavior assessments, always under the supervision of a certified BCBA. The BCaBA ensures that all treatment plans and interventions assigned to their caseload are carried out effectively and consistently, following the scope of duties outlined below.

You’ll work closely with clients, families, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to promote progress at home, in school, and within the community ensuring consistency, fidelity, and care in every setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Adheres to professional and legal requirements, the principles of behavior analysis demonstrates professional judgment at all times.
  • Work under the direction of a BCBA to conduct assessments, analyze data, and help create intervention plans.
  • Performs direct and indirect assessments to identify the function of client’s behaviors.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the implemented treatment plan and modifies the plan as necessary.
  • Manages caseload and prepares and submits all required documentation on time. This includes, but is not limited to assessments, treatment plans/BSPs, insurance updates as required, session notes after every session, at least monthly analysis of the data, updating the treatment plans as needed.
  • Support the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each client’s goals and needs.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to RBTs, including modeling, coaching, and competency-based feedback.
  • Attends all relevant meetings for clients, including treatment team meetings, IEP/ISP (as allowed/needed) and staffing. Adequately demonstrates their abilities to work effectively as a part of a clinical team.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust the protocol as needed.
  • Provide caregiver training sessions to support generalization of skills and increase family involvement.
  • Ensure treatment fidelity and adherence to ethical and professional standards, in compliance with BACB guidelines and funding source requirements.
